Depending on times I could offer you a lift if you like as I will be in the car. I'm not sure when exactly I will be going, but it will probably be about 11 ish Sat morning, coming back on the evening/night.

Let me know if it's any use.

JJ and I are going, also Rosie and Adam, Jules and John (unless anything has changed that). Adam can't ride his bike at present (shoulder injury) and Rosie's is off the road, so they are probably in the car.
JJ and I are going down Friday afternoon.
See you there, Vern, Saturday ABW

It's at Cornbury Park, which is just outside of a village called Charlbury and that's near Woodstock, Oxfordshire

well so far the cheapest train tickets we've found will cost 70 between us so its a bit steep so may give it a miss, ive started looking for a new job now though coz ive got so fed up of working weekends and missing rallies.

Managed to get down yesterday for a few hours and it looked like everyone was having a good time. The weather was good (but apparently cold during the night) and there was plenty of stalls and entertainment, both for the young and old.

Listened to a bit of music (Stevie was on great form with his Mandolin as usual) before getting one of Far Canal's "Too Old to Die Young" T-shirts (they are donating 10 to NABD for everyone of these T-shirts sold). Have a look here: http://www.farcanal.biz/totdy.php but hurry as they are limited editons.

Other than that I met loads of friends, some I haven't seen for ages, and arranged a few parties as well. So all in all a nice day out. Just sad I couldn't go on the bike and stop the weekend.

Oh well, needs must

It was even colder Saturday night, Vern - site shrouded in mist this morning until the sun got up, but once it burned through it was hot. We had a fantastic weekend, met some lovely people, and enjoyed the bike show and the stands (JJ wanted info on triking the Wing at some point in the future, so NABD show was brilliant for that). Should have told us about the T shirts before. We thought of getting one each (very appropriate for us) and might have been persuaded had we known about the donation.
In the end, I had my rally jacket tattooed instead - a gold and green dragon embroidered on the back.
After this weekend, we have deided to book early for both NABD rallies next year.
We saw you by the bike show on Saturday afternoon, but you were busy chatting to friends; looked for you later, but you had vanished; hope your pain is reducing.
See you soon.

You should have said hello, there were quite a few people who I knew were there but didn't see. That's the trouble with just popping down for the day, you don't have the time to wander too much (well I don't, it takes me too long to get anywhere Smiley)
