Thanks, Steve. Just gone onto the forum and found your post and link - very useful. I had trouble getting onto the Gloucester MAG website when I was trying before - at least, now, JJ will know where we are going (it helps!!).
I think there are quite a few of us coming down from Black Country MAG, and I was talking about it to one or two at our rally this weekend. Looking forward to it.

I'll be there.

Anyone planning a run down from Black Country MAG as there seems to be quite a few of us?

I'll be going down on the Friday, not got a specific time planned. One thought was to make a day of it and leave early in the morning and have a leasurely ride down and around. But no plans in place yet.

Hi to everyone who is coming to visit me at my new MAG home.

Just a bit of a warning about the roads down here for when you come to the rally.  Once you get south of Gloucester, the A48 is a lovely, leisurely bike road. It also seems to claim dozens of lives every year, both bikers and young car drivers in baseball caps. It appears that there is nothing to do in the Forest Of Dean, so fatal vehicle accidents are a popular hobby.

Don't want to put anyone off, as the rally will be even better than previously ('coz we're here now!).  Just be warned, take it easy, and MIND THAT CHAV!

See you soon

Wotcha.

The Silver Fox cafe - it's on that road, not far from Westbury on Severn - does excellent grub.  In fact, it's my No.1 cafe for chips.   Got a horrible feeling it ain't open weekends, could be wrong though.

Cheers.

Hi All,

Rally is just on the Friday and Saturday night.  You lot have to bugger off home on Sunday, so we can tidy up after you (and drink any beer that's left!)

Of course, I'm joking - there's never any beer left when BCMAG have been there!

See you a week on Friday.

I thought it was like others that give 3 dates - arrive Friday (or later), leave Sunday?
We are planning to go to Red Marley on Easter Monday, at the moment. Went last year with Nigel and Pauline and had a great day out (a good ride out there and back, as well).
