Raising funds for the County Air Ambulance
11.03.2008 at 13:58:05

Karl Taylor and James Smart are looking for your help.

They are about to embark on a major motorbike ride from the Air Ambulance Base at Strensham Services on the M5 to many shopping centres and venues around the country and are aiming to raise 20,000 for the air ambulances. As this is a high profile biking adventure Karl and James are keen to meet any biking groups who would be interested in joining him on any of the stages. In particular they hope that you may join them on the departure date to wish them well (where the publicity/news people will be) and maybe even ride with them to Cheltenham the first of many shopping centres he will be visiting.

There will also be a prize draw where you will have the opportunity to win a brand new Suzuki GSX650F/or cash alternative, a helicopter flight lesson, a real helicopter flight simulator (used by pilots), many remote control helicopters, a family weekend break, and Royal Worcester Jamie Oliver sets.

well i went along, it was a bit chilly but it stayed dry.
rather a poor turn out i thought considering what the money was being raised for, there were about 10 of us in total, "the majority being a club from the ross on wye area."
i did feel lonely riding back on my own.
now everybody say "ahhh"

Lifes' journey is not to arrive at the graveside in a well preserved body, but, to slide in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "HOLY SH*T, WHAT A RIDE"!!

I was gong to pop down, but a couple of mates came around to help me with the ramp I'm building so I took advantage of them whilst I could Wink Grin

Good job I did, it's been snowing ever since.
