WMMAG Easter Egg Run.

Still far too busy to write much, so another short one.

Our Easter Egg Run held on 23rd March attracted 80 bikes and trikes, with well over 100 people braving the chilly weather. The run went to Dr Barnardo’s in Droitwich for the first time - the project managers there had never seen anything like this, and were amazed at the support (and the amount of chocolate!). The staff there were kind enough to lay on free tea, coffee and biscuits for us, and we have already received a thank-you letter from them. Some local press coverage was achieved both before and after the event - I'll add it here when I get hold of a copy.

The Evening party was a lot quieter than the Fred Hill party. The only MAG presence was the four of us running the party - something commented on by a lot of the regulars at the Wharfside. This is obviously the wrong venue for this event, as it is so far away from our active groups - however, this was a last minute arrangement after we couldn't hold the party at Droitwich Rugby Club. So it's not our fault!. The band ("Cage") went down very well, with lots of people asking after them - a good mix of covers, with bits of their own stuff. They should be playing the Heart Of England rally, so there is another chance to see them.
